30 Hours Funded Childcare for Working Families
Working parents may be eligible for an additional 15 hours of funded childcare per week, bringing the total to 30 hours during term time (1,140 hours per year). To qualify, each parent (or the sole parent in a single-parent household) must earn at least the National Minimum Wage or Living Wage for 16 hours a week but less than £100,000 per year. 15 Hours Funded Childcare for Eligible 2-Year-Olds
Some 2-year-olds are entitled to 15 hours of funded childcare per week if they meet certain criteria, such as being from low-income families or having special educational needs. Tax-Free Childcare
The Tax-Free Childcare scheme is available to working families, including the self-employed, across the UK. For every £8 you pay into your online childcare account, the government will add £2, up to a maximum of £2,000 per child per year (£4,000 for a child with a disability).
